The Goes-18 – Raspberry Pi Project, enables the reception, decoding, and presentation of a wide variety of weather information from the Geostationary Satellite GOES-18. Basic resources for information and credit can be found at https://w6aer.com and https://USRadioguy.com.
This kind of information could be useful in emergency situations when primary sources of communication are unavailable. In this regard, I am supplying a best effort in providing a subset of pictorial information to the AREDN Organization as a resource. I find the visual files fascinating and I hope that others will enjoy them. I hope that they are never needed as a primary source, but they might add a useful tool for information on the AREDN service.
